Qualifying Work Experience (QWE)
Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) is one of the four elements on the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route that the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) requires an aspiring Solicitor to complete before they can be admitted onto the roll as a qualified Solicitor of England & Wales.
Access Law Clinic Associate
Access Law Clinic offers the opportunity for those undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route to become an online Law Clinic Associate and gain some of their qualifying work experience.
To be eligible as a Law Clinic Associate the following criteria must be met:
- Successful completion of the SQE1 or proof of SQE1 exemption
- Successful completion of the Law Training Centre Foundations to Law Clinic Practice course
- Meet the SRA’s character and suitability requirements.
- Be available for fortnightly appointments with Access Law Clinic Head of Operations.
- Record all QWE completed with Access Law Clinic on a training record.
